Review

By Class Regular, Christine

“Following a difficult hip replacement in 2012, none of the exercises I tried improved my mobility very much. I joined Jane’s class in 2016 and immediately, slowly, began to make progress. Her mix of exercises taken from a variety of methods, concentrating always on personal mobility, safety, enjoyment, with alternatives if something is too tough, has made a huge difference to me and what I’m able to do.

Though not completely pain free, the level of pain has reduced by about 75% and movement of every kind is noticeably easier. Muscle around the damaged hip has certainly increased and I’m able to take other forms of exercise, particularly walking, with pleasure rather than as an endurance test.
Personally, I love Jane’s approach to the classes, her enthusiasm and sense of humour, the new exercises (not same old same old), and use of music. Jane is a key element in my efforts to stay mobile and fit for as long as possible.”
